Intermediate Skills: Situational Awareness

| $79Our Defensive Shooting series is for intermediate shooters who have already learned the basics of handgun operation and are looking toward the next step of more defensive-focused skills. These classes (part classroom, part live-fire drills) cover a specific area each month, rotating through topics you need to reliably use a firearm.
Situational Awareness & Threat Assessment, teaches you to: practice appropriate levels of alertness in your daily life; preemptively identify threatening/criminal behavior; assess the level of danger posed by individuals; and engage threats at defensive distances.
For this class you will need:
- A handgun with which YOU ARE PROFICIENT
- At least 3 magazines
- Approximately 150 rounds of ammunition
- Eye and ELECTRONIC ear protection (if you don’t have it, we rent it for $3)
PREREQUISITE: THIS IS NOT A NEWBIE CLASS. You must be PROFICIENT (able to put 5 consecutive shots within a 5” target at 5 yards); PRACTICED within the last month; and SAFE (know and follow all indoor range firearm safety rules).
